Recently, TMT's end customer, the German Federal Railway Company (DB), and the Spanish OEM Talgo jointly conducted the initial inspection of the air spring products provided by TMT for the F073 German Rail project. TMT's high-end air spring products passed the joint initial inspection with zero non-conformance items, receiving high recognition from DB and Talgo!
The F073 project is the latest ECx250 intercity high-speed train project developed by Talgo for DB. Previously, TMT won orders for a full series of suspension products in this project, including air springs, central traction systems, torsion bars, and traction rod joints, making it one of the few high-end overseas projects where TMT obtained a complete suspension component package for the entire bogie. It has been classified as a major scientific research project at the Zhuzhou site.
To ensure the smooth progress of the project, TMT established a DB project team from the early stages of obtaining the order, including business, technical, quality, procurement, etc., ensuring timely information transfer and smooth workflow. The project team responded quickly and arranged schedules reasonably, remaining organized throughout DB's comprehensive and detailed initial inspection requirements, and successfully passed the DB initial inspection with zero non-conformance items!
After the inspection, the DB review engineer said, "Everything was well prepared, nothing to claim, that is great!", highly affirming TMT's inspection preparation work. Following the successful initial inspection, TMT organized an air spring zero non-conformance item review exchange meeting, sharing relevant experiences with the entire team to ensure all products pass the audit successfully. The smooth passage of this review lays a solid foundation for TMT's core suspension damping products to compete in the European market.
