Products Description

The link systems in railroad cars are primarily used to transfer traction and braking force between the car body and the bogie frame. The links are optimized to transmit high forces while at the same time providing mobility. Currently, TMT has the capability of designing a z-type link system, pull rod, and traction links.

Traction links transfer traction and braking force and reduce dynamic vibration between the car body and bogie. The pull rod is used to connect parts such as the dynamo, axle box, and gearbox to the bogie. The ztype link passes force through the coupler for train traction or braking.

Advantages

TMT designs a variety of links for various applications and customer requirements.

Casting link products can be produced with a spheroidization rate of more than 90%. This results in stronger steel with improved resistance to abrasion.

Forging link products use one-time continuous heat forging, which reduces the decarburization layer to less than 0.5mm, resulting in stronger steel links.

Rubber components can meet all customer stiffness requirements in any environmental condition from -50℃ to 50℃.
