Recently, our company has successfully secured the order for the seismic isolation project of the Linyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital (High-Speed Railway District) and completed the delivery of all products.
Located in the Tancheng-Lujiang seismic belt in Linyi City, Shandong Province, the area is designated with a seismic fortification intensity of 8 degrees and an earthquake acceleration of 0.3g. To prevent the buildings from being damaged in earthquakes, the newly constructed internal medicine building, medical technology building, and outpatient building employed a combination of seismic isolation solutions that were independently researched and developed by the company. These solutions include rubber seismic isolators, elastic sliding plate supports, viscous dampers, and anti-tensile supports, firmly underpinning the upper structure of the entire hospital.
The project utilized the largest models of rubber seismic isolators LRB1400, elastic sliding plate supports ESB1500, anti-tensile supports with a maximum capacity of 3500KN, and some products weighing up to 6 tons, with the maximum width of connecting plates being 2.8 meters. The installation of the transportation boxes was at -17.25 meters underground, presenting exceptionally difficult construction conditions with complex procedures and high precision requirements. During the construction period, team members, undaunted by the scorching heat and the epidemic, collaborated precisely on-site to address various issues, earning high recognition and praise from the client.
It is understood that the hospital has a total investment of 2 billion yuan and a total construction area of 299,000 square meters. It is a key construction project outlined in the national "14th Five-Year Plan" for the strategic development of traditional Chinese medicine. The internal medicine building has 21 floors above ground, with a structural height of 90.3 meters and an aspect ratio of 4.02, which will make it the tallest "anti-seismic hospital" building in China once completed. The acquisition of this project represents another significant breakthrough for our company in the seismic isolation market for buildings.
