On October 20th, the last batch of products for Indonesia's PT KAL composite sleeper, undertaken by Xiangyang Hongji Company of Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (TMT), was loaded and shipped to Zhangjiagang. So far, TMT has delivered more than 20,000 overseas sleeper orders, and has achieved fruitful results after five years of hard work.
The sleeper product line has been launched in Xiangyang Hongji Company since July 26, 2020. From the initial 30-minute downtime for joint debugging and testing of the production line, to the current 120-hour continuous production of equipment with natural downtime, numerous falls and recoveries have been made during this period, finally winning the hard battle, and breaking the long-term monopoly of the composite sleeper market by foreign competitors.
Under the pressure of tight time, heavy task and large batch delivery in this overseas project, Hongji Company's entire staff participated in the production task of more than 20,000 sleepers in 90 days, through teamwork and round-the-clock shifts. From the optimization of engraving machine and cutting machine tools, gradually improving skills to independent improvement of multiple equipment, implementing optimized scheduling, mobilizing, and inspiring employees to "take the first step forward" and complement each other, regardless of position and job type, providing a strong guarantee for the timely delivery of this batch of orders.
