Xiangyang China Railway Hongji Engineering Co.,Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “Hongji”) was established in May 1999, formerly known as the Prestressing Anchorage Plant of the Fourth Engineering Bureau of the Ministry of Railways, which was transferred to CSR Corporation Limited with Xiangfan Traction Motor Factory during the asset reorganization of the Ministry of Railways in August 2000, and was renamed as Xiangfan China Railway Hongji Pre-stressing Anchorage Plant in November 2001. On May 28, 2003, it was restructured into Xiangfan China Railway Hongji Prestressing Equipment Co., Ltd. In December 2017, the original shareholder, CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., LTD, transferred 100% of the equity of Hongji Company to Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd (TMT) with a registered capital of 52,587,500 yuan. Thereby, Hongji Company has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of TMT and been managed by Industrial and Engineering Division.
The company, as a high-tech enterprise in Hubei Province, is now engaged in the research and development, production and sales of prestressing anchorage and hydraulic products for construction machinery. With the reform and development for nearly 20 years, Hongji has witnessed the rapid development of China’s railroad construction and seized the good opportunity for railroad development, gradually growing into a famous enterprise in anchorage industry. The company employed 142 people (77 independent-hired, 42 labor dispatched and 23 labor outsourced). Through self-reliance and self-improvement, Hongji now marches the forefront of the industry according to the occupied market share of domestic high-speed railway anchorages. With the technical support and industrial introduction provided by CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co., Ltd and TMT, the Company keeps promoting the transformation and upgrading of the company and steadily moving towards the goal of “14th Five-Year Plan”.
